The project looks into the concept of using human behavior as a mode of design thinking, which is informed by the essence of Japanese hospitality, to explore a new framework for approaching design thinking. This approach takes into account both form and function and was subsequently applied to everyday items to create unique designs that aim to stimulate intuition through their aesthetics to create intuitive and poetic designs through product and visuals.

Pencil & Eraser

Simplicity, Communication, Evocative, Anticipation, Home

The idea stems from the saying "What follows". Both the pencil and eraser are two items that go hand in hand and are instanteously and instictually paired with one another. The concept stripes down the essentials of notetaking and sketching and breaks it down to the simplest of elements. The eraser in this instance was developed to act as a pencil holder that minimizes objects needed to be carried.
