These designs, both visual and physical, represent my personal incorporation of the principles of omotenashi in my life. They articulate the ways I want to interact with my environment, curating quietly convenient, visually harmonious and ubiquitously applicable standards of design. In the construction of this project I’ve learned that pure ingenuity can be folly – sometimes it is best to simply allow a form to unravel itself.
